Being nice to each other and making things good in the world is certainly crucial to our species. The problem is that humans are capable of doing that without a book written by cultists who worshiped a faith healer, manipulated by empires(Romans did it first, then the British/Spanish, now NeoCons =P) to tell them how to live. And to say what is right and wrong.

Things evolve over time. During your life time, you may not notice that things are changing around you as change is gradual. So, staring at a monkey, waiting for it to change in to human…nah, not going to happen…but Darwin did prove survival of the fittest. Take the giraffe. It started out looking a lot like a horse, but the taller giraffes could reach the leaves on trees, so they survived, while the shorter necked ones lived and passed their genes on. Does that make sense? So, how did we come in to creation…I don’t know. No one really knows. Some people believe in a god to explain their existence. Others don’t need a god. Sometimes you just have to expect that things just “are.

there are two types of evolution: macro evolution, which, mrs. amanda, you searched and micro evolution. macro is the one that is the Theory of evolution. Micro evoltuion is within a species. the species adapts to its environment over a period of time…not milltions of years, of course, but over a few generations of the species. For example, take certain bacteria that infect the human body like influenza. They make a antibiodics for them, but as a people keep taking the same antibiodics, the bacteria become immune to it, because a few bacteria cells mutate when they are developing and then those cells multiply and so as a result a new generation of bacteria are not affected by the antibiodics and so therefore, scientists have create a new antibiodic for this new generation. But yes, i agree, we always need to ask Why and How to seek the Truth. It’s not a sign of doubt or ignorance, but merily a sign of interest and curiousity.

 Like a book that has no real meaning, or happening to it, evolution and its principalities are completely false. It doesnt even have a basis on which to stand. The moon, the stars, the galaxies, the sun…now there is all examples of science backed by facts. Evolutions cant even be backed with facts in the science realm. It is taken to be something that people tend to believe based on a theory, not facts. It has no background and no meaning. It is categorized with ancient myths, the lockness monster, and an earth that is flat, among other many things with only theories. Even take an illness for example, like cancer, that is cured without any medication or treatments. Evolution says that once a process has began in a cell, it must continue in that same order. Then if evolution were real, explain healing. Evolution can not stop itself and turn around into something that has already began. But on the other hand, take Christianity for example, you can read ancient scrolls, study greek and hebrew similarities, different bibles, and actually take scientific measures and understand that a real man, named Jesus The Christ, was born, performed many miracles, walked with people, was imprisoned, beaten, crucified, left for dead, buried, arose from the grave, and ascended into Heaven. And actually that can be proven without having to believe in Christianity. Those things can actually be scientifically and earthly proven, not just put into a theory. But of course, the part where you lose people on this is in the FAITH category. Many other religions know and acknowledge these facts and dont signify Jesus as the Messiah, and that is ok. They believe and know the truth, but have different thoughts on the why’s and so forth. Some people will refuse to have faith and to believe in a God that rules the Heavens and Earth and all around. Well then explain that healing earlier that i talked about, evolution can not fix it, so how did it happen without medicine. Only faith in a God that reigns over all. I dont see the electricity going to my dryer, but i know its there and i have faith that when i push the button, it will be there when i need it. Its often said by other athiests, its easy to be an athiest while your not flat on your back about to die, or in a tight and desperate situation. But try one of those out and see what you actually “HOPE” or believe in.
But in all kidding aside, i like your thoughts, because they are actually based on TRUTH!
